Life through a mirror

A great man once said, we would have live half of our lives before we realize that life is a ‘do it yourself’ project. Well, that’s his opinion as a quick survey revealed we have not everyone agrees with this great man. While the main bone of contention is how long it takes to find direction, be it less, more or a deviation from the mean, what they all agreed on was the to find purpose during course of ones lifetime. We all seek enlightenment, direction, even definition of life. This process has been given several names e.g. soul-searching, self-discovery, self-realization and so on.

Men and women through the ages, from Plato to Socrates, to Sun Tzu to Karl Marx have pondered and proposed several theories to meaning of life. Today, millennia after the first man walked this earth, we’re still in awe of the conundrum called life. Certainly, blessed is the man, woman, boy or girl who discovers the meaning of his or her life, for only then does he or she puts an end to mere existence and begins to truly live as master of his or her destiny.

Remember the saying, if you want something done right, do it yourself? Well, let me conclude with these words; Take charge of your life today! It is not about circumstances or persons, it is all about you.

N.B: By the way, that great man was Napoleon Hill.
